Project Selection-Film

       A filmmaker, or a film director, is a person who is in charge of the film from the development stage to the finished project. Creating a film would be very interesting for me because I am fascinated in how different camera shots and angles affect the style and effect of the film. An example of this would be how a low angle shot creates a sense of authority in the character, whereas a high angle created a sense of vulnerability in the character. I also think it would be fun to create a really interesting plot and setting for my film that the audience would find entertaining. The film offers a unique, creative opportunity for me to explore my interests in filming and directing. I also think it would be interesting to choose certain actors and actresses that would be fitting for the characters in the film. Creating a film would the right choice for me because it would be an opportunity for me to show my creativity and camera abilities. Not only will filming be interesting but it will also help me to get a better understanding of how films are created and all the work that is necessary in creating films today. I also think that collaborating with a group to create the film would be really beneficial as everyone can combine their ideas into their idea of a perfect film. However, creating a film may be a challenge for me because I am not skilled in editing and the technology needed. It also may be difficult working with others especially because of our busy schedules and different opinions. Overall, creating a film has many pros and cons that need to be thought about before I make my decision.
