I also decided to analyze and study the film, 1922 as it is a well-known horror movie based off of Stephen King's book. In this particular film there were no opening credits however it does show that is a Netflix Original Film and Campfire Film Production is the production company. In the first 2 minutes of the film we can see an older man walking through a town in Nebraska towards his apartment. Once he enters his apartment, he begins to write a letter regarding his wife and her potential death and how he would like their assets to be given to their son, Henry James. A man who lives next to him is sitting against the wall with his ear towards the wall to hear what is going on. The film starts with an establishing shot of the town and the main character walking to his apartment. Then an over-the-shoulder shot occurs as the man stands waiting to cross the street, the camera then tilts upwards to show the apartment complex building. As the main character unlocks his door a long shot is used and then zooms in. When he writes the letter , a panning shot is taken of him sitting at his desk as he reads what he is writing aloud. The neighbor next door begins to listen into the wall with a low angle shot to show how this character has power or is strong. The film budget for 1922 was $1.9 million and is only viewed on Netflix.
